We’ve put together a list of some popular pizza joints in town to visit while you drive around the Nashville suburbs in the comfort of your new 2023 Volkswagen Jetta 1.5T S.
1. Pinky Ring
This New York-style joint, located at 414 Gallatin Pike S, serves up hot and fresh slices and whole pies using fresh and flavorful ingredients. Start with an order of veggie caprese or garlic knots to whet the appetite. For pizza, we recommend the Porchetta, the classic cheese, or you can simply build your own. Wash it all down with a draft beer or cider. Pinky Ring Pizza also has several non-alcoholic beers. Please drink responsibly and in moderation, and do not drink and drive.
2. Long Hollow Pizza & Pub
Just up the road a few miles, at 900 Conference Dr. #7b in Goodlettsville, is this family-owned establishment, which creates tasty and unique pies. Try the Long Hollow Supreme, the Gone Hog Wild, or the Veggimus Maximus. They also serve appetizers, salads, wings, and sandwiches. Also, be sure to ask about their daily specials. Finish your meal with a chocolate chip cannoli, a sugar stix, or a smores pizza.
3. Jolly Ollie’s Pizza & Pub
Come hang out at this chill joint, complete with pool tables and music. They serve tasty appetizers, like the jumbo wings or fried pickle spears. But the real treasure is their pizza. Try the Funky Chicken, the smoked BBQ, or Ollie’s supreme pie. Or you can come up with your own creation. For dessert, the tiramisu and New York cheesecake can’t be beat. Jolly Ollie’s is located just down the road from Madison at 82 New Shackle Island Rd. in Hendersonville.
4. Sir Pizza Rivergate
This restaurant serves salads, wings, sandwiches, pasta, and crispy thin-crust pies. We suggest the Joker’s Secret, the Aloha, or the Sir Amigo pizza. They serve cold beer as well, so order a pitcher for the table. Please drink responsibly and do not drink and drive. Don’t miss out on their daily and weekly specials. The servers are very friendly and efficient, and the owners will make you feel right at home. Visit them just a few miles down the road at 913 Rivergate Pkwy. in Goodlettsville.
