    -Service inspection on my vehicle found my steering rack is failing (attached service record from today 5/16) -Due to no part availability from the manufacturer, we were unable to repair the vehicle at this time -I inquired about a loaner vehicle when picking up the vehicle at the dealership and was instructed to call customer service -Customer service stated they did not have control over a loaner and instructed me to call you again (Case number 06830539) -Due to safety concerns as well as risk for further damaging the vehicle, I am unable to continue to drive my car in its current condition -When discussing the issue with you today you stated you did not have enough loaners to offer a vehicle and instructed me to again call customer service Upon investigation it appears VW Atlas vehicles 2019 have had recalls issued on this part although my VIN was not part of this recall. I have also noted this is a common issue with part availability related to steering racks for VW Atlas. If I am able to verify I have reliable transportation, I am happy to pay for and order the part. At this time, until that is secured I will not be doing so.

    Service was done quickly and I was communicated with/updated frequently. A couple of additional areas found that would likely need to be serviced at the next service appointment, but knowing about them now is very helpful.

    Staff was friendly, service department and waiting area very clean. Service advisor got me in and out quickly.

    No one called to update me, I had to call and make sure the tow truck got it there, call back to see if it there was any update at the end of day one, call back the afternoon of day two to see if there was an update. Then when they did call they just said “your car is ready”. I had to specifically ask what they found, which was nothing. Very poor customer service every time I have had to deal with this dealership. It’s like they know they can be rude because they are the closest dealership. So disappointing.
